4-hour body update
It has been about four weeks since I started the “4-hour work week diet” and decided to take some measurements. Even without measuring I’ve noticed that my ab muscles seem to be sticking out more than normal. I think it’s important to note that I was cycling approximately 12 miles everyday during these past four weeks and didn’t follow the diet as strictly as recommended. I tried to not cheat throughout the week and was very successful in the first three weeks, even though I was under constant redicule from my co-workers. Although, in week four things were going as smoothly as I had hoped and my cravings for sweets and carbs were stronger than ever. Needless to say I was not strong enough to resist all temptations, but I did try to mininalize the damage as much as possible. Anyways, here are measurements for the first four weeks:
Left arm: 10.5
Right arm: 10.5
Waist (belly button): 32
Waist (widest): 36.75
Left leg: 22
Right leg: 21.75
So my stomach seemed to decrease in size slightly, but there wasn’t much change in my arms or legs. My legs are already musclular without a lot of fat to begin with so that doesn’t strike me as odd. I didn’t do any arms exercises so that would explain the lack of difference in my arms. I would like to continue this diet with some exercise aimed at attacking my mid-section. Updates to follow.

As soon as I can sell my PowerBook I will be getting an iPad (1st gen). Or maybe before then…
Or maybe I should just get the new one…
